I've made this recipe a few times and it's always turned out really well. Pretty easy too. Hope it works out for you!
Flourless chocolate cake
Makes one 8-inch cake
Ingredients:
4 ounces good quality bittersweet chocolate (not unsweetened)
1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter
3/4 cup sugar
3 large eggs
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder, plus additional for sprinkling (latter is optional)
Preheat oven to 375 degrees and butter an 8-inch round baking pan. Line bottom with a round of wax paper and butter paper.
Chop chocolate into small pieces. In a double boiler or metal bowl set over a saucepan of barely simmering water, melt chocolate with butter, stirring, until smooth. Remove top of double boiler or bowl from heat and whisk sugar into chocolate mixture. Beat eggs and temper with chocolate mixture until completely combined.
Pour batter into pan and bake in middle of oven for 25 minutes, or until top has formed a thin crust. Cool cake in pan on a rack for five minutes, then invert onto a serving plate.
Dust cake with additional cocoa powder (if desired; you can also dust with powdered sugar.) You can serve with whipped cream and/or berries too.
Cake keeps for several days if cooled completely and stored in an airtight container without any of the above additions.

That's the exact recipe I used.
Is it from AllRecipes.com? My problem was that although it looked done on top, there was no way to tell whether or not it was done in the middle, and I ended up taking it out too early. Maybe it's just my oven?
Anyway, thank you!! The cake tastes delicious, even if it's a little gooey in the middle.... The Husband didn't complain, though!
