Vent about ***'s and The Gap
And for those of you who think I'm talking about something OTHER THAN the retail stores - you're sick! Anyways, yesterday I tried to return items to both stores, both without a receipt. (I have the ***'s receipt, I just left it in DH's car). You know how most places, if you return without a receipt, give you the lowest sales price within the past X # of days? At ***'s it's the lowest PAID price. Meaning that if someone, some random person in Iowa, bought an item with a 50% off coupon, that's how much they'll give you. How UNFAIR is that???? I took my stuff with me and will go back another day to return everything. And at the Gap, I guess I just haven't been there in a while, but their return policy is now to MAIL you the store credit? And I had to give them my license so now I'm the only one who can use it??? What if I want DH to use it? Wow - those both SUCK.

That's kind of ridiculous on both counts.
But I can't help but giggle. There are a ton of Gap and D!ck jokes running RAMPANT through my head right now.
I agree that Gap's policy is really bad lately. It has been a mail merchandise cert. for over 2 years now without a receipt at the current selling price. But I am surprised they didn't let you get something that day if you went to Smithfield.
