May 2008 Weddings
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
I have two totally unrelated questions:
One: What's your favorite book? I have a Barnes & Noble gift card and I can't decide what I want.
Two: I am attending a wedding in March. (I'm just a guest...not special part in the wedding or anything like that.) It will be on a Friday at 4:00pm at a Golf course. Below are a couple of photos of the place to get an idea. What should I wear? (Pictures are a plus!)

Re: Two Questions?
My all-time favorite book is American Gods by Neil Gaiman.
Other favorites: Anything by Vonnegut, The Wooden Sea by Jonathan Carroll, Honeymooners by Chuck Kinder, Garlic and Sapphires by Ruth Reichl, My Life in France by Julia Child, Anything by Anthony Bourdain...
I just got a copy of A Secret Gift by Ted Gup. I can't wait to read it!
Remind me where you are again and what kind of weather you get in March. This will help with appropriate outfit selection.
Bella's Bistro - My Dairy Free Food Blog
My favorite books are:
"Clock without Hands" and "The Heart is a Lonely Hunter" by Carson McCullers
I agree with Bella on Anything by Vonnegut
Ditto.
I dk if I have a favorite book, but my favorite author is Barbara Kingsolver and I recommend anything by her.
My Profile
Me Talk Pretty One Day, by David Sedaris. Hi-lar-i-ous.
If the wedding isn't too formal, I think a knee-legnth cocktail dress would be fine.
When I have giftcards I go to the discount tables at the front and randomly pick a few that just "look good" Not exactly helpful for you, but I like to find new authors like this.
For the wedding I'd wear an "inbetween dress" - something not too dressed up, but not too dressed down since it will be outdoors and then looks like moving indoors. Maybe a cute wedge heel. I honestly can't really picture what you look like so I'm not sure on your style, but something like these. If you want to give me budget/size I'll search for some specifics.

Baby Sister is coming soon!
I'm in California. So our weather is all over the place. Anything from hot and sunny and 80 to cold and rainy at 40.
Nope. I'm from CA. And while there is a Woodlands in CA. I was actually just dumb when I thought up my nest name. Basically my name comes from the fact that we were married under trees aka the woods/mountains. I wish I could change it now as I'm not fond of it. But I guess that's me now.
