I'm worried sick. I keep trying to call DH.
He called me on his way to the new place to tell me the brakes went out as he was driving on the highway, he was calling his dad and the mechanic to see if he could just drive the truck straight there since it's a fairly non-stopping route.
He said he would call when he got to a stop and could figure out what to do.
of course this is what we NEED right now! But right now, I just need him to be okay and safe and WARM! We need all his fingers and toes dammit.
ugh.

Oh my, I hope he is fine. He is probably just be too pre-occupied with the situation. I hope he and the car are okay.

I have had my breaks go out on my twice in 2 different cars, luckily once was in a parking lot and once I had just backed out of a friends driveway so...SCARY non the less.

Hey guys!! Internet went down because of the cold, so I couldn't respond.
So after many near misses and turns and passing by where he wanted to be, he finally got to his dad's. Then his dad got the mechanic to look at it and take it in but it took 3 passes for him to get in there..
I had to skip WW (I probably gained anyway since I'm quitting..) and go get him.
btw. he NEVER thought to call! Momo.
