I saw that you have taken your dog to Woof-Dah in Burnsville. Have you been happy with everything there? We're looking for a place for our dog when we go on vacation and we're very protective of her (she's like our kid) :-) Thanks
Re: **Steph0871**
We absolutely loved them. Our dog, Puckett, is a Golden/Husky mix and therefore has pretty much unlimited energy. We've left him at the vet's boarding place a few times if he just needs to stay 1 night (it's way cheaper.)
When we got married in November, though, we didn't want to leave him in a little kennel, so we checked out Woof-Dah. LOVED IT. They have to do an 8-hour evaluation thing to make sure they play well with other dogs, aren't aggressive, etc. It was only like $15, and we got a $10 coupon for the first stay. So basically it was a cheap day of day care.
We left him there Friday morning-Monday afternoon for the wedding. I think he slept for like a week straight after that. We basically had to drag him out, because he wanted to keep playing.
They have a pool, which is hilarious. (Actually, when we did the first-day evaluation it was Halloween weekend. So they had a 'bobbing for apples' thing in the pool, but with hot dog pieces. We had to ok him eating hot dogs so he could participate.)
They do a nail cut/trim for free when they stay overnight, and they allow you to do add-ons like a lunch snack or bed snack of a treat-filled Kong, etc. They don't charge anything extra for that either. They also get a bath before they go home, which is freaking amazing when you have a dog that sheds as much as ours does.
He also boarded with them for 4 days over Christmas when we went home to Wisconsin. Same thing. He was exhausted when we picked him up, and still didn't want to leave. You can tell they really care about the dogs, too. When we picked him up the two girls were telling us all about his favorite friends there, and how he would always chase around one specific dog, and how another dog wanted to play with them, etc. Like, they really paid attention.
Anyway. I think that's enough. In case you couldn't tell, yes we love Woof-Dah. I just wish they weren't 45 minutes away from us!

So it looks like they are not too far off 35W? Hmmm. This place could be a possibility for dropping our boys off if we're headed to see family in Iowa. I wish it was closer to us for regular daycare!
And I LOOOOOVE the name. :-)
