opinions? re: coworker footwear
ok I was just in the bathroom and walked by a woman wearing these shoes (sorry PIP wouldn't work no my work comp.)
Now we are business casual, but still I think these are not really work appropriate, even on jeans days. I honestly have never seen someone wearing them ouside of using them for running shoes. It just struck me as odd.
So tell me, is my judgement too harsh? Are these ok footwear for a workplace?
Re: opinions? re: coworker footwear
I think it would be okay if you worked with other webed feet animals...but i am guessing you dont work at the zoo or a science lab?
Looks almost as if the person is walking around in socks.
Nope not appropriate, at all. OMG, those things are fugly, who would even make such a thing?
Unless she maybe has a doctor's note for some sort of issue? We have some people that wear sneakers or crocs due to some back and leg issues.

What??
I love em! They are supposed to be very ergonomically correct and VERY good on all of your joints. FWIW, I have over-pronated, unreasonably flat feet and because of that, I have chronic aches in my knees and hips.....those shoes would feel awesome!! LOL! I would wear these in a heart beat!
I thought I KNEW you!!!!
They're ugly and no they're not appropriate for work, ever.
LMAO! My work is very laid back and there are some days where the only time I see people is when I leave the office to go to the bathroom. For my work, I could totally wear them.
You all mean to tell me you would never wear them??? What if someone told you they were the MOST comfortable pairs of shoes EVER?! You lie if you say no.
They look like webbed feet to me, so no I won't wear them.
And I've heard the same argument for crocs and they are also fugly unless you're gardening or river tubing.

BWHAHAHAHAHAH!
I can honestly say that I would NEVER.EVER. wear Crocs!
The Vibrams? In a heartbeat

I'd wear them to go river tubing because you have to go into it with the thought that they'll get ruined. But they're awfully expensive to use as crap shoes for river tubing.

me too I think they look comfy
Sometimes when I don't have to go into offices and just stay in my own, I wear gym shoes, but I always have a spare dress shoe at work... just in case!
