My passport expired last summer, and I finally got around to sending in the renewal application a little over a week ago. I also needed to change my name, so I had to include the marriage certificate with the application.
I just had my application returned to me. I remember the application itself, and the marriage certificate, and the pictures, and my expired passport, and everything was done correctly. The problem?
I forgot to include a check to pay for it.

Re: D'oh! I'm an idiot
Oops!!!
This made me think of yesterday...
On Saturday I cooked 2 beef roasts, shredded them and saved the broth (My mom was planning on showing me how she makes her famous beef BBQ sandwiches with it). ?On Saturday night, I put it on the counter to cool down a little more before putting it in the fridge. ?You probably see where this is going...
I got up in the am, made us breakfast, we watched some TV and I got ready to take the beef down to my parents so my mom could show me the recipe. ?I looked in the fridge...not there. ?I LEFT IT ON THE COUNTER ALL NIGHT! ?Ugh, it about killed me, and I was so embarrassed
?$20 down the drain in meat, and everyone was looking forward to that for dinner. ?It sucked.
