Who is watching? Did your team make it? (ok I'm so slow because I watched both game yesterday and barely remember who is going to the SB, is it Steelers and.... ummm don't remember who beat Chicago LOL)
We are going to Atlantic City that weekend because everyone in H's family pretty much has free rooms to use up. I don't gamble and now I can't drink, so I sure hope I have a good time!!
Re: Super Bowl
OMG they killed the Jets! LOL! My FIL is a huge Jets fan so I had to keep my comments to a minimum but it was comical! How they hell they made it that far - pure luck!
H is from Massachusetts (where we got married), so our team is the Patriots, and they definitely got destroyed two weeks ago. BUT. My grandfather is a die-hard Packers fan, so (just for this Super Bowl) we have changed allegiance to the Packers, and are hoping for a win over the Steelers!
I have nothing personal against the Steelers, but they won two years ago, and I also can't stand Ben Rothlisberger. (edited because I'm an idiot who confused the Steelers' QB with the gymnast from the 1984 Olympic team).

Ben Roethlisberger
I'm a die hard Steelers fan (as is the rest of the city) so I'm really excited we're going to another superbowl! There is a reason we've gone to so many superbowls in the recent years.. we have a good team! They really cleaned up the team this year (got rid of Reed & Holmes, Ben has really started acting more professional since his personal drama happened). Overall, we have a great fan base and a great team!
AHAHAHAHAHA. I'm so stupid. John Rothlisberger was a gymnast in the 1980s. I'm a moron.

haha you're not a moron - I don't know the names of many football players outside of Pittsburgh and the super-famous ones (like Tom Brady).
I only like watching the Steelers play because I can say, "Ben Roethlisberger kicked my high school's ass 10 years ago!"
Ben's from Findlay, OH. I'm from Toledo, OH. Our high school played his high school in state playoffs when he was a senior (I think I was freshman or sophomore). We got our asses handed to us -- my school was completely destroyed. Whodathunk I'd be watching a future Superbowl quarterback...
Big, big like the moon...
I like the Saints too. Not that I am super into sports or anything to actually claim a team. Drew Brees is pretty sexy IMO! Plus my friends husband is so in love with the Saints that his passion inspires me! lol
I was an only child, and so my dad had to teach his little girl to play football so he could pass along his talent. My husband is a sports fanatic, too, so I watch more football than is probably healthy. But I'm so ticked at the SB this year that I doubt I'll watch the whole thing. We threw a big party last year and had a blast, but I wanted a Jets/Bears SB more than anything, so I'm a grumpy girl.
Waiting for next season already (and waiting for the next season of The League). *sigh*
