I have about 800 million angry SSA clients waiting for me today, but I'll be off and on!

what vacations do you have planned for 2011? (other than the GTG) - YES We're going to Florida Feb 27-Mar 5. Then we're renting a beach house in Glen Arbor, MI from May 29-June 4 with some friends. We're going back up north to Petoskey, MI for a wedding Aug 19-21. And finally, we're going back to Chicago Sept 25-29 for our anniversary.

What is your favorite vacation spot? Glen Arbor, MI (for short vacations).

What is your ultimate dream vacation? A tour of Europe! I've been before, but DH never has, and I would love to experience it with him.

What are your must watch Tv shows? Parenthood, Grey's Anatomy, CSI: Miami and New York.

How often do you get to speak french at work? basically never. I get to translate documents maybe once every couple months or so.

How did you get started event/wedding planning? I'd been doing party planning for my family for years, and when the opportunity came up to plan my own wedding back in 2007, I decided to make a try at a business. It's been quite successful, and I love every minute of it!

How did you and Aaron meet? I was a bridesmaid and he was a groomsman at a wedding. I think that's kind of a cool story. We met at the rehearsal dinner two days before the wedding.

Favorite thing to do on date night? I like going to dinner at nicer places once in awhile. We eat out probably once a week, but places like Panera, which I don't really consider "date night". Or honestly, staying home together and watching a movie on TV.

What has been your favorite vacation spot? Honestly, I LOVE Glen Arbor, MI. Not that I didn't love the caribbean, France, Italy, England or any of the other places we've been ... but there's something about that town that instantly makes me relaxed.

What is your favorite season? I love the fall. Wearing a hoodie or a sweater and jeans is perfect.

What is your favorite movie? Gone with the Wind. Mainly because it's my favorite book.

Are you reading anything for fun? I'm re-reading the Outlander series by Diana Gabaldan. I'm currently about halfway done with #2, Dragonfly in Amber. I absolutely LOVE these books and characters. What is the best thing you read recently? I'd say the best recent books I've read are the Millenium series. Those were really great!

Have you considered moving out of state? If so, where do you think you'd like to go? Yes, all the time ... but our jobs keep us here. We would move to Chicago if we could. We even went looking at houses when we were there this last time. We're CRAZY!! LOL!

How long has Aron been a firefighter? 5 years as a volunteer and 15 years at his current career department. Does he plan to retire after his 20 years are up? No, he'll retire when he's 50 ... another 12 years to go.

What is your favorite type of exercise? Zumba and Yoga.

What is your favorite thing about Chicago? It's weird, because like I said in Jo's post, we feel like we're at HOME when we're in Chicago. It's someplace we see ourselves living. I actually think that when Aron retires in 12 years, we will probably end up living there. But I wonder, at 43 years old, will I really want to move?

Any fun kitty stories? We bought a new down alternative comforter for our bed and they HATE it. They won't sleep with us anymore. I kind of like this because they aren't picking fights with each other at 2am on my legs these days...but at the same time, it makes me sad.

Can I pick your brain about it at the GTG? Of course.

Favorite food from your favorite restaurant? Mac&Cheese. Now I really can't wait for Rockit! I also had really amazing Mac&Cheese at Mr. Brown's Lounge in Chicago on Jan 1. Truly delicious. I always get it at The Engine House, a local firefighter bar/restaurant. YUM.
