For the next project in our house, we are planning on tiling the kitchen, foyer & probably 1/2 bath. After talking with FIL, we decided that DH & FIL would DIY. My DH is NOT the handiest guy in the world, but under the direction of his father, I think they could do it. We found the tile that we want & were waiting on our tax returns to start the project.
I spoke with FIL yesterday & he told me that he wasn't comfortable doing the tile himself (he's afraid of messing it up). He offered instead to pay for the labor & we would pay for the tile.
Would you take his money or keep saving to pay for the entire project yourself?

Re: WWYD?
We never ask either set of parents for money, but we will take it if it's offered. We're broke and just starting off, and our parents are well established. If they want to give a hand, I see no problem accepting.
