Runners - 2011 Racing Season?
I just set my schedule for the year.
March 13 - Go Green Half Marathon, Los Gatos
April 10 - Santa Cruz Half Marathon
April 17 - Great Race 5 miler, Saratoga/Los Gatos
May 7 - Mermaid Run Half Marathon, Fremont
July 11 - Jungle Run Half Marathon, LG
Oct 2 - Rock n Roll Half Marathon, SJ
I may throw in a 5K in there now and them but mostly only running halfs. My goal is to get to a 9:30 min/mile and ultimately a sub-2 half.
What are your racing plans?
Re: Runners - 2011 Racing Season?
My race schedule is kind of limbo as we are going through some IF treatments right now and I am not sure where/how I will be.
I have signed up for the 5K of the Go Green in LG! We should meet up afterwards.
ooohh...the Great Race! I want to sign up for that.
No half marathons for me this year...maybe in 2012.
I understand!
We should meet up afterwards. There is a SB not too far away too.

That sounds great!!
June 25th-R&R Seattle 1/2 marathon
July 31st-SF Marathong and I'm seriously considering the FULL marathon!!??!! OMG..I'm officially crazy. I did one 4 years ago and swore I'd never do another. But, guess I am!
Anyone running that/has run? Experiences? Feedback?
Learning to start all over again... Blog
February 6: Davis Stampede
June 5: See Jane Run Half --Alameda
July 31: SF Marathon (first half)
still open for other ideas...
ps: I have run the SF Marathon (first half) before...it is AWESOME! Starts early but totally fun. I heard the second half is hillier...
Right now, I am signed up for:
The Stampede the first weekend of Feb.
The Walt Disney World Princess Half Marathon the end of Feb.
DH and I ran the first 1/2 this past July and it was pretty hilly! I can't imagine what the 2nd half is like. Regardless, running over the GG Bridge is worth it in my book!
Jan. 29th - Coyote Hills 10K trail run
Mar 5th - Bidwell Classic Half Marathon - I haven't signed up for this yet and if I'm closing on a house that weekend I won't be running.
