recommend a vacuum for hardwood floors and rugs.
Looking into buying a new vacuum. Our house is mostly hardwood floors with rugs spread out in various rooms. Any recommendations? - preferably lightweight.

Don't have a specific weight, but something that can be easily carried up and down stairs.
Thinking of spending between $100-200.
We just got the LG Kompressor one a week ago. I LOVE it. We were going to get a Dyson, but read they weren't amazing on hardwood, or berber carpet. We have mostly hardwood laminate, and two bedrooms with berber carpet. I read a lot of reviews on this one, and decided to give it a try. You can use a coupon at BBB and get it cheaper.
