Re: if you could go anywhere in the continental US...
I would go here, to Blackberry Farm http://www.blackberryfarm.com/index.php
It's in the rolling hills of TN, and I much prefer the mountains to the beach. They have top notch fine dining and wines, outdoor activities like biking and hiking as well as a spa, it's got pristine accommodations, hot tubs, and it's secluded but has great amenities.
Napa.
Right now, NYC.
But that may be because I watched approximately 21 hours of Gossip Girl this weekend.
I'll have to check this place out. I love the mountains and would go there over the beach any day.
I'm grouping Napa & San Fran since they're in the same area. I love Napa & Sonoma, but a full week just there would be too long. You'd need to venture out to find more to do. Combine that with all San Fran has to offer and the surrounding natural beauty of those areas and I'm in heaven.
If it weren't for the whole being pregnant thing, I'd say Lake Tahoe or Breckenridge, Colorado.. I want to go skiing!
We're going to NYC in March - I'll have to pick y'alls brains for things to do

Vegas if it includes unlimited gambling budget.
Also I'm stuck on planning my vegas vaca, so that's the first thing that comes to mind.
Next pick would probably be Montana or Tahoe. Ditto pp about preferring mts to beach.

First, I will definitely give Blackberry Farm high marks for anyone who's thinking of going there. I haven't personally stayed there, but I've been there for a class and it's a beautiful location with wonderful owners! They recruit from my alma mater (UT Knoxville), and they have some crazy high standards, so I would think your experience there would be fantastic!
I would likely pick somewhere in the Caribbean. I've never been anywhere south of Orlando, and I love beach vacations! Second place would definitely be wine country in California, though!
"My 101 List - Updating asap, I swear!
NYC. I've been a couple of times, but not really enough to experience it all. It's been very patchy. Meaning seeing places here and there only.
2nd choice would be California, mostly so. Cal.
3rd choice would be to be a big "tourist" in the wonderful world of Disney! I'm such a fan, but usually do the budget route. I'd like to stay at a fabulous Disney resort and partake in all that disney has to offer!
