I wish this could be a sticky post that always stays at the top and people could add to it because I always forget book recs. Anyone have some? I'm finishing up my 12th book since I got my Kindle (go me) and I'm not sure what I want to read next.
I have read:
- Nora Roberts Brides Quartet Series (all 4)
- First 3 Emily Giffin books (Thank you Stacey)
- PS I Love You (Thanks again S-dogg)
- Promises to Keep (Jane Green)
- Saving Cee Cee Honeycutt (I forget who)
- The Choice (Nicholas Sparks)
- Firefly Lane (Kristin Hannah)
- The Perfect Christmas (Debbie Macomber)
I don't like vampire books or anything sci fi and I don't like murder/mystery/suspense...
I have another Nicholas Sparks on my list but not in the mood to cry, I have the Shopaholic and baby on my list but sometimes those annoy me, and I have the latest two Emily Giffin and the Sophie Kinsella - Can you Keep a Secret one but I'm not sure about those...anyone read them?
ideas?

Re: Books
I
PS I love you!!!!!
I laughed through tears nearly the whole book, and I always treat dh like a king for at least a day or two after reading it (yes I have read it like 3 times)
Oh, I'm going to read the Pioneer Woman's book (Black Heels to Tractor Wheels) when it comes out on the 1st. Also on my list are American Wife and Prep - anyone read those?
LOL Pooks! It was a very good book. I'd like to see the movie but don't want to be disappointed now.
I LOVE Sophie Kinsella, always have! Have you read her book "Remember Me?" - it's one of her best, IMO.
Jen Lancaster is my favorite author *ever* - her book "Bitter is the New Black" is hilarious. Robert Rave is a new-ish author that I want to check out - he's a straight man who write chick lit, so I'm very intrigued.
Have you checked out the website goodreads.com? I love perusing through the reviews on it and keeping tabs of what I'm reading/have read/want to read
If you're on there, here's my profile with my lists - I need to update it!!

Thanks Linds! I do love Sophie Kinsella - I think that will be my next one then. Very nice the Kindle edition is only $6!
That's right, Jen Lancaster - I remember there being an author you really liked and met. Ooh, interesting about Robert Rave, I'll have to check him out too. I do love my chicklit. I'm so deep.
Thanks for the goodreads.com tip - I'll check it out!
LOL, yea, I always feel so silly when I say something to people about how much I love reading and they're always like "Oh, what do you read?" and I reply with "Mostly chick lit."
I always get the "wow, she's special." rolled-eye look, lol. Thing is, through college, I had to read what felt like an entire library of journals, research papers, and white papers on SO much serious crap that I'm over serious reading. Give me something I can laugh about!
Jen Lancaster also has a blog that she updates regularly, it'll give you a feel for how her books read: www.jennsylvania.com - she's a nut! LOVE her!

Read Remember Me first then Can You Keep a Secret. I totally LOLd at Can You Keep a Secret.
Friday Night Knitting Club is a tear jerker
I'll let you know if I can think of anything else. My sister is in a Mom's book club and I get all her leftover chick lit
Unfortunately school is starting back up this week so I won't be able to read for fun much anymore. While in Ireland I read 3 books! It was awesome
LOL Lindsay, my answer is "um, you know...fiction...." lol.
Shaina, I totally judge books by their cover so that's soooo what I used to do.
Thanks for the rec Leesh, I'll read the description for Friday Night Knitting Club and see if I'm in the mood to cry :P. Go you for 3 books on vacation!
I loved the Bride books and all the Emily Giffin books! Except for Love The One You're With, that one wasn't my favorite.
If you like Cecilia Ahern (PS I Love You), read Thanks For The Memories. It was so good!!!
How the eff do you have the time?!
I read two of the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series -- waiting for the 3rd from my library, so I'm reading a Patricia Cornwell while I wait (Scarpetta, it's just a forensic fiction)
The rest of the books I've been reading are baby books. If I'm lucky.
I have read more books in the last month than I have in 4 years! It's the Kindle! I can read while nursing and while rocking! And I read while pumping at work now to try to relax and help my milk output. And I've been reading after I put C down at night to relax.?
I have read NO baby books (although there are 5 staring at me on the shelf right now) except excerpts when I'm looking up a question because they make me stressed and feel like I'm screwing stuff up.?
Thanks Erin, I was wondering if her other books were good!?
I've had Scarpetta sitting on my nightstand for months and can't bring myself to start it. I likePatricia Cornwell books but they also give me nightmares.
Is Scarpetta good?
Heart of the Matter- Emily Giffin
The Bell Jar- Sylvia Plath
I'd Know You Anywhere- forget the author
Prep was pretty good
Summer Sisters- Judy Blume
Water for Elephants
Sarah's Key
I love all Jane Green books too- Dune Road, The Beach House, Babyville, The Other Woman
I already pre-ordered PW's book too. Can't wait. Right now I am reading Drew Brees's book (Saints quarterback) Coming Back Stronger. Very good
