Poor Derek is home sick. He came home early yesterday because he was so nauseous. He spent the whole day in bed and is feeling a bit better today, but it still super shaky. It would appear that it's food poisoning, and not the flu, since he does not have a fever, and I feel fine.
Last night was pretty low key for me. The bin didn't come, because I put in the wrong expiry date for our credit card for the deposit, so that will be here today.
How is everyone doing today?

We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Re: Happy Hump Day!
I feel Derek's pain. It's been a rough day. Looking forward to hopefully feeling better and a night of pub quiz tomorrow!
Now jumping domestically.
Well that was a crazy couple of years.
Raynes - I hope Derek is feeling better soon. I Have had that once and it was horrible!
My day is ehh. I Don't know how else to explain it. I'm tired, grumpy, sore and don't want to be here. Zumba kicked my butt lastnight and my legs feel like jello.
Enjoy your day ladies.
Ugh. People suck. There's no snow on the roads this morning and there was still 2 accidents on my way to work. Slow down people!
I also woke up gagging and just having a not so swell morning. I'm hoping this applesauce and some nausea medicine kicks in soon. We're expecting more snow tonight into tomorrow, and I'm hoping it's enough to get me out of coming in to work tomorrow. I could really use a day to just lounge and feel gross there instead of here.
Morning, all! Slushy day in D.C., but some schools still decided to shut down. Hmm.
Today is a busy day with some data sets I need to work with, but at least it makes the day go by fast. Tonight's an off day from the gym, so hopefully we can get some other chores done.
Good Morning Ladies!
I am so nauseous today. Blech.
Last night was good, got to see my BFF and get my hair colored all at the same time. I went back to my natural color which is kind of dark brownish and I am not sure about it. I really miss my blonde!
Tonight, I definitely have a date with my bathtub after I make dinner and hopefully a very relaxing evening.
I hope everyone has a great day!
Omg, I thought today was tuesday. For real. ::hangs head in shame::
I am mentally exhausted with languages. I am working on a kitchen in Denmark where my CAD drawing is in Danish. I'm working with my Italian Kitchens, so dealing with Italian in my Italian software transferring stuff and we've specified German appliances and all that information is in German. I speak none of these languages and have had to spend lots of time on google translate.
In happier news, a while back I mentioned that Dh and I were trying to create a habit in gym going (21 straight days to create a habit) Yesterday we hit 21 days. I feel so much better, I've lost 5lbs but the energy and happiness I have now is awesome. Now to keep marking an X on the calendar on my fridge when I go.

Apparently enough to scare OPM into dismissing the feds two hours earlier than usual. Hopefully you'll be able to take advantage if your office follows the feds' lead?
Well, I had to pick my boy up early from school yesterday because he wasn't feeling well so today he's staying home. I have to get ready for my first actual client meeting for tomorrow. Little bit of cleaning today is also needed in my house.
I'm glad I don't have to go anywhere since it rained last night. We never ever get rain this time of year. Usually this time of year we are in a hard cold snap and sitting at temps around -40c, needless to say, the roads are going to be nothing but sheets of ice.
I'm here! Late, but here!
I had a full morning roster of classes, which means going, without stop from 8:50-12:30. It's exhausting being on stage (which is what I think teaching really is) for that long.

psh, I wish we got out 2 hours early! I'll be here til 4:30 at least, and it just started pouring down rain here in Clinton. if the temp drops just a few degrees, it'll be sleeting.
also, I've been feeling very tired and just "off" the past couple days. AF is due any day now and there are no signs her her ugly self, sooooo I think I'm going to test tonight. might be too early, but I figure it can't hurt anything.

Wahoo! sorry, minor excitement attack. I tested at 8dpo for s&g (sh!ts and giggles), and was totally surprised with a double line. Super faint, but nonetheless.
Today was okay. I woke up early to run 4.5 miles before work (was in bed at 8:20pm last night)
Work wasn't anything too exciting. Getting oriented to how the clinical pharmacists do their job at my new hospital. Tomorrow I have to start at 7am so I'm hoping to get to bed early tonight.
