I'm not mechanically inclined!

The air in my passenger tire was really low, it looked as though my tire was flat.  There was no way I could drive with it so low.  Richard was at work and I don't know how to put air in my own tire.  I had to call my dad to help me.  Luckily he was close by to save the day.

I always rely on Richard to help me with car related issues.  I really need to learn how to do these types of things on my own.

  • Don't worry, I can't do any of those things either lol.
  • Nope, I can't either. The only thing I can do is put gas in and anti-freeze (when my car used to leak it) Thats it. So don't feel bad.

  • I'm the same way especially because Don knows so much about cars...I do know how to put air in my tire(s) & check my oil level, but thats all.  I sort of know how to change a flat tire, but not confidently.

  • I'm kinda the same way. My dad taught me years ago how to check my oil level and coolant and all that mess. He's shown me how to change a flat but never had to do that so I know I'd be at a loss there. I do know how to add air in my tires and I have the air pressure reader thingy too to let me know when it's low. That does help and is pretty handy.

If Jeremy's willing then he'll change my oil but it's usually when we're at my parents so I'm not sure who actually changes it...him or my dad.

I can refill my windshield wiper fluid, anti-freeze and top off my oil (since my car burns oil like nothing else).  I can NOT pump gas.  I know it's not hard, but I'm from Jersey!  I took a road trip to MD and had to refill my tank.  This guy made me feel stupid because I didn't know how.  Luckily, a woman stopped, saw my plates and helped me out cause she grew up in Jersey too.

  • Since H got a 40K education in being a diesel technician, I tell him I don't need to know how to do anything on the car.

Eventhough my dad tought me how to refill windshield fluid, check oil, and air up my tires when I was like 13.
