FB puts me over the edge
I just can't help myself. I read people's political (yet dumb and uneducated) status updates and they infuriate me. And then I HAVE to post my own political status update, like I am somehow going to get through to these idiots, who obviously don't want to be gotten through to.

I can't stand when people put any kind of insane/uneducated status update on... I know someone that just wrote something idiotic about private vs public school and I had all I could do to hold my tongue!!! arrgghhh!!!!

Same here. This one girl posted something political and a bunch of people responded. Of course her next update was how she had to delete it because she couldn't take it. Umm sorry, you wrote it and you were not expecting people to respond? Geesh.
I don't think most of those "uneducated" opinions are made by people who don't know that their opinions are uneducated.
And I am sure they think our opinions are uneducated. LOL
I love my friends-- even the ones whose voting is detrimental to my well-being (in my opinion), so I guess we have to take the good with the bad in this whole "living in a democracy" kind of world. Or just hit "hide" or "delete."

I'll say it again! Amen, Sister!!! Really, your point could have been made about anything. I think I recently posted something to the effect, "complaining is like praying for stuff you don't want. I HATE complaining (yes, I do it sometimes, too) but it's not going to change anything. Instead of focusing on the problem, spend your time wisely to come up with solutions. This was my mantra as a manager - if you have a problem, feel free to come to me, but be prepared with three different solutions. Politics are the same thing. :-) FB can be a time sucking devil :-) and I love it!
I'd better go check FB and make sure we're still friends! LOL
And in my original post, I meant to say that "I think" those people don't know they're stating uneducated opinions-- not that "I don't think".... Stupid quadruple negatives!
