A Chicago GTG question
I was originally thinking if I did this I would drive but $46 for parking the about $50 for gas (one tank)is kind of excessive.
I researched taking the train in and could do it for about $50, that would put me in Chicago at about 11:30am Saturday. For those of you staying Saturday night how long might you be around on Sunday? My 2 options for the return train home are like 8am and 6pm. If a few people might be in town longer in the afternoon its possible that Maddy and I could stay later. If people are leaving way earlier I'm not sure I want to kick around Chicago that long by myself with the baby. In researching I'd definitely be doing Sat/sun and not Fri/Sat because 6pm is the latest outbound train Saturday as well.

2012 Reading Challenge
I am driving in and it sounds like Mary is going to ride back with me. I have no set time that I need to be home by, so I defer to Mary on that one, but I am not opposed to hanging out in the city on Sunday for a while either!
I was with you on the gas & parking / vs taking the train ... it was pretty close for me because if I would have taken the train I would have had to catch a cab to and from Union station and I figured that would basically equal each other out.
I'm taking the train in the opposite direction. My return options on Sunday are leaving at 9:30am or 5:00pm. I'll probably choose the morning because I don't want to be getting home so late on Sunday (it's 3 1/2-4 hours on the train). It's also cheaper to go in the morning.
