Sad Day :(

One year ago, just after starting wedding planning and just before my last semester of school, my first horse, Pepper died.  I can't believe I've managed one year without him.  I got him when I was in high school. He was my best friend and soul-partner for 5 1/2 years.  We went through soooo much together.  People actually told me to sell him because he was bad. I didn't listen because I believed in him.  Know what?  We accomplished so many things.  I trained him all by myself- but he trained me too.  He gave me confidence, hard work and determination.  He really is what made me me.  I miss him so much.  His death was very tragic, and he was only 11 years old.  In the prime of his life.  I truly hope he knew how much I loved him.

I'm sorry to hear about Pepper. It is so amazing how much of an impact animals have on our lives. You have so many memories with Pepper and it seems he taught you so many amazing things you can carry with you.

Just remember all the great times you two had and I absolutely believe he knew how much he was loved. Feel better girlie!

Yes! Our animals can teach us and shape us so much!  I do have tons and tons of memories with him. It's just really hard to believe that that's all they are, are memories.

     Thanks for the hugsss, Kim.

  • Big hugs....I am sure he knew how much you loved him. How great that you got even just a bit of time to learn and grow with a special animal! Horses are amazing creatures that take a lot of time and work, but also give a lot in return.

  • Hugs and vibes to you.  Sorry to hear about your horse.  Remember you gave him a great life while he was here.  Post pics of him if you get a chance.
  • Thanks girls.  I would love to share pictures of him!  He was skinny and badly sunburned when I bought him.  But he sure turned out beautiful!
