Flight was cancelled tomorrow, WWAFBCND?

So our flight for tomorrow morning to Vegas has been canceled already :( They re-booked us on a flight for Friday night, WTF!? My 4 day trip has turned into 2 days. I'm thinking about just canceling since they'll give a refund. Would you still go to Vegas for 2 days?

    I might be tempted because it's so goddamned cold, but I think having to go home after 2 days would depress me more.

    Hell to the yes.  Vegas can be done in one day.  I usually go on Friday nights and come home Sunday mornings.  Sure, you have a longer flight than I do, but I would still go.

    We all know you were just going to spend the whole time in your hotel room drinking tepid water and watching The English Patient anyway, save your money and do that at home!

     For real though, that sucks. I can't decide if I'd still go or just take the refund. It could still be a really fun two days, right?

    Would you be able to reschedule your vacation at work to go in a couple weeks or so? If so I'd do that instead and go longer.

    Could you change your return flight and extend the trip by a day or two?  If it would be okay for work, I'd probably do that.

    What was the reason for the cancellation?  Weather?  I would keep calling the airline every so often to see if any seats open up on earlier flights or if you could at least standby on an earlier flight.

    Right now I'm flying out Sunday night, I've been on hold with Jet Blue for about 40 mins now. I'm going to try to change my flight to Monday. We can't change the trip, T is going for a conference, which means free hotel.
