Jersey Shore??
Someone on my local posted about the cast from Jersey Shore supposedly filming the next season in Italy??
Am I the odd one out in society who can't stand this show? I just don't get the appeal. It irks me that people who have worked hard their entire life struggle to get by still, and these dopes are rich already.

I will totally admit (somewhat ashamedly) that I can't stop watching that show. It's such an effing train wreck, but I just can't stop.
I am however, a bit appalled that Snooki has a "novel" on the best seller's list right now. Really?!
I watch it. I have no shame.
I also think a lot of people who are rich, whether they've earned it or inherited it or literally stepped in it deserve it much less than people I know who struggle. Such is life.
I don't understand why they film anywhere outside of Jersey - it's called JERSEY Shore.
This will not do much for us foreign relations-wise.
I have a hard time watching it. I will usually read or work if someone puts it on in my house. My friends thinks it's put hilarity and will watch it when they are drinking. I thought the first season was very entertaining - like a train wreck, but the idiocy and trashiness got old really quickly.
I will say that I think a season filmed in Italy would be very interesting. I be interested to see how real Italians react to them.

On a side note: My 10 year HS reunion is this spring/summer. The reunion committee booked a club on the Jersey Shore and I told DH if they booked one of the cast members to appear, I will NOT be happy!

Once again we are like-minded twinsies. I couldn't have said it all better except to add that DH and I are obsessed. Thursday nights are exciting for us just because of JS.
