Good Morning!
I don't know why but today does not feel like Wednesday. I keep thinking it's Thursday and then getting bummed because I still have two work days left. I have to score/transcribe some tests today and work on eligibility stuff which I'm dreading partly because of the 29794754 copies I'll have to make.
I also want to be an AW and post my newest knitting creation. I was so excited when I finished this last night that I want one now. And seriously hoping this PIP works!

im tired (shocking) but in a good mood. had a productive day yesterday and got a lot accomplished, both at work and in my personal life. hope to keep that positive energy moving ahead! plus, i have a lot of work to do today and hopefully it will make the day go quickly
AND i just read Barry O's speech from last night (no tv, couldnt watch it, wouldn't have stayed up til 10:15 anyway...) and i am instantly in a good mood. regardless of your political beliefs, THAT was a hell of a speech! fabulous!

What a BS commute in. Awful sideways snow, roads not salted or plowed. Thank you weather people for screwing this up. It was supposed to be a light snow, then rain, then heavy snow tonight. If there's going to be three plus inches on the ground in the morning, people need to know. It's not safe when aholes can't drive in the snow and you have kids walking to school and buses on the road too. Jesus Christmas.
I am in a bad mood from the winter weather. STOP! UNCLE! I do not feel like getting up and coming in here tomorrow after the 6-10 we're supposed to get overnight either. Hate!!!!!!!!!!!!
Last night I went home, made an awesome dinner, ate, talked to MFD for a bit, then he went to stringband and I went to get dog food and stopped at the grocery store. I was supposed to go to Lowe's but I foisted that off on him, and the library was closed. I forgot about the new hours. Balls.
I packed my lunch, cleaned up the kitchen, unloaded and reloaded the dishwasher, finished a book, watched the SOTUA then 90210 and Gossip Girl.
I slept like crap.
I agree, I can't believe it's ONLY Wednesday...it felt like a Friday morning to me when I was getting ready.
We have painters here at work for the next several days...it stinks up in here! I moved into our conference room to try and get away from the smell since they're painting right next to my desk, ugh! It's nice and quiet in the conference room - I could get used to this!
Tomorrow wil be a different day for me, I go into work for about 2 hrs and then head up to our Richmond branch for a noon meeting and then another meeting after that where I think I'll be offered the admin job there. I checked our internal job listing site this morning and the admin job has been removed (not sure when they took it down). So, we'll see how tomorrow goes!
The weatherman said we could get some snow here tonight, but nothing too much - hope he's right! It's raining here today and super gloomy, makes me want to go home and crawl back into bed!
I've been craving my white chicken chili and also pizza...guess I know what to have for dinner either tonight or tomorrow!
I LOVE Wednesdays!!!! No, I am really serious. Myself, H and our friend are all on a trivia team together and today is Trivia night. So I honestly look forward to wednesdays, some times more then the weekend. So wish us luck.
Work has been busy this week with registration but not as busy as we would like it to be.

. DH and I got a lot of house work done yesterday so all that is left on the agenda today is to run to the bank, bake some bread, and workout. Then tonight my mom and I are doing a snowshoe outing which will probably be a good 2.5 miles trek with 100 other people.

I'm just sitting here at my desk, looking out the window praying for the snow to start so I can be sent home early. All of the local schools were closed for the day in anticipation of the storm. Why oh why couldn't my company have done the same?? I could totally use a day to curl up on the couch in my jammies and read and sleep all day. :-)

I really, really despise snow. When I woke up this morning there was almost an inch of snow and it had just turned to ice. Joy. So I'm working from home today and getting a ton of stuff done.
This week is all out of whack for me. Yesterday I was in NJ for work and we were supposed to spend the night but they canceled the training today because of the weather. So I spent from 7 AM - 10:30 AM in the car then sat in the office then was back in the car from 5 - 8:30 PM. So it doesn't feel like Wednesday or really any other day for me.

Love the hat, I wish I could knit. I usually hate Wendesdays (along with M, T, & TH) but today is Payroll so it usually takes up a good amount of my day, plus I take my sweet a$$ time and make it look more time consuming than it really is.
Did not do anything productive yesterday. I weighed myself (big mistake) and I'm up two lbs. Ugh...I was so depressed. I had joined WW and then quit because I don't have self control, but it looks like I will be joining again because I need self control. Later this evening I'm going grocery shopping for healthy items and I'm definately hitting the gym, oh and watching American Idol!

Today is going to be a boring day, nothing to do here at work or when I go home. Except the massive amount of laundry. Usually Sundays are a non stop laundry fest but since I wasn't home much on Sunday I have dragged it out to be an all week event.
I am going to order my soon-to-be SIL shower invites today. H is seriously pissing me off, I have had invites picked out for weeks now and showed him and the price and he said those are nice. Well then today I tell him I am going to order them and he says how much are they and I say 70 dollars and he flips shiit. Eventhough I am buying them, not him. And now he wants me to pick new invites but SIL has already seen these and loves them. What to do, I don't know? If I get the 70 $ ones he is going to be in a bad mood for atleast 2-3 days.
Yikes, that does seem like a lot. Are you throwing the whole shower, or is someone helping you with the other stuff? I've only thrown one shower (bridal), and we (the bridesmaids) kept picking out the cutest things, not really realizing how quickly shiit adds up. Like, one girl is a florist, and decided to MAKE leis for everyone (luau theme) instead of the cheaper Oriental Trading Co. ones I'd already ordered. Grr. We ended up spending much more than we wanted to on the shower. Anyway, just a question.
I'm jealous of you potential snow day ladies. I would love a day to just curl up on the couch in my jammies! It's icky and foggy here this morning, but supposed to clear up later.
We're going to Tahoe (north lake) this weekend with my family (parents, sister + family), which I'm looking forward to, but also dreading. My mom & sister don't always get along, so this could either be awesome or a total disaster. I'm planning to spend Saturday inside reading and relaxing, and making some soup & bread for lunch. I'll leave the skiing to the others.
Basically I'm doing it myself. None of the other bridesmaids have offered to help and I feel wierd asking them to help. I know that is alot for invitations I didn't know how many we were going to need but they wanted more so the total went up. Maybe I should just get cheaper ones.?.
Yeah, it's a tough call. I know I spent more on our wedding invitations than H wanted, and he kept saying that people would just throw them out. I knew that, but still wanted to do it. Our cost was maybe $400 for that. I wouldn't spend much on other invitations (i.e., not my wedding), but that's obviously a personal decision.
You could at least ask the other BMs to help out with food, like potluck.
Jedaniel - Did I miss how many you ordered? Invites are usually around 70 cents - $1 each custom, but I know you can get cheaper generic fill in ones at Target.
