2. Do you have any trips coming up? None. Zero. We will probably do a few long weekends but no big trips this year. Maybe NYC. Maybe a horse trip to Aiken, SC with the "barn crew" for some trail riding.
3. Are you planning to make any big purchases this year? Does getting the exterior of the house painted count?
4. Are you doing any home renovations this year? New furniture? We are getting the exterior of the house painted this spring. We've bought new fixtures (vanity/sink, toilet, tile) for the downstairs powder room. DH will start the demo in about 2 weeks. We are also having the plumbing in that room repaired.
5. Anything else? I'm tired. I'm also having minor surgery on Friday, which will keep me off of my bike this weekend. With my luck, it will be the only weekend in Jan. that is sunny and 60 degrees.

My Nest Bio and Cycling Advice
1. Are you ready for Spring? Why? Eh, I try not to rush the seasons. I REALLY enjoyed the snow we had, but spring means camping weather!
2. Do you have any trips coming up? Ashville with DH's family at the end of Feb. DH is going to Turkey and London, and I don't get to go to either. We're trying to plan something for our 5th anny in July.
3. Are you planning to make any big purchases this year? Hoping to upgrade to smartphones.
4. Are you doing any home renovations this year? New furniture? Renters. And we still have college furniture. :-/
5. Anything else? I'm eating kale for the first time tonight.1. Are you ready for Spring? Why? Yes. I feel a bit cooped up.
2. Do you have any trips coming up? No. But, I am hoping to go to Florida for Easter to visit the folks and hopefully my bro, SIL, and niece will be there at the same time.
3. Are you planning to make any big purchases this year? Oh goodness, I hope not. We spent soooo much flipping money last year getting our house set up, I am done spending money!
4. Are you doing any home renovations this year? New furniture? We are STILL finishing up the cabinets in the butler's pantry and room behind the kitchen. We started in June of last year (our cabinet guy is slow as molasses!) The back plashes were tiled last week and look great (let me know if you need a great/cheap tile guy). We are also hoping to FINALLY grade our backyard. DH has been trying to deal with the city and get the permit for months! And I would love to finish getting stuff put away, and get the pictures hung on the wall so I finally feel moved in. I still feel like we just moved in.
5. Anything else?1. Are you ready for Spring? Why? i could take it or leave it. i actually would really love another snow!! the only thing i am looking forward to is when it's actually light outside when i get home...so i can take the pups out for longer walks.
2. Do you have any trips coming up? we will be going to south bend for a wedding 4th of july weekend and we hope to go back to new orleans for our anniversary. i'm sure we will make trips to fl and chicago sometime this year as well.

1. Are you ready for Spring? Why? YES! My birthday is the first day of Spring, and I need to get outside more.. the inside of the gym is closing in on me!
2. Do you have any trips coming up? Personal - Disney with the In Laws (MIL, FIL, BIL, SIL and the neices and nephew - gonna be SO fun for them!), Austin, TX, Canada. Work - Orlando 2x for work (two weekends in a row... ugh), North Carolina, Mississippi.

5. Anything else? I Really wanna have a few pool partys at our house. We completely redesigned and updated our backyard, pool area, and deck last summer.

5. Anything else? The inlaws are planning a trip up here in the spring. I've made sure DH knows full well they can stay at our house for "only" 2 weeks.
1. Are you ready for Spring? Why? i really hate wearing heavy layers (coats, socks, etc.). for example, i don't mind wearing a cardigan but when you have a shirt, cardigan and a jacket/coat on top of that, it's not cute nor comfortable.

4. Are you doing any home renovations this year? New furniture? yes, we are doing little renovations one at a time. we just painted the bathroom on our main floor and got some new accessories. we will eventually paint more rooms and also get a new media table/console table.

1. Are you ready for Spring? Why? I'm ready for the weather to be a bit warmer, mostly so I don't have to run the heat for a while and can have a lower bill.
2. Do you have any trips coming up? Nothing big. DH deploys later in the year, so the only trip I'll probably have is maybe to visit him for a weekend where he will be training for the deployment.
3. Are you planning to make any big purchases this year? DH says he needs a new laptop, but I disagree. If it happens, that will be the only "big" purchase.

5. Anything else?I'm proud that I cleaned out my closet and got rid of a bunch of stuff.1. Are you ready for Spring? Why? Ehh...It'll be nice to break out some skirts and shop for new spring clothes but I'm not looking forward to the mass amount of work that has to be done to our yard.
2. Do you have any trips coming up? This year we are planning a trip to DC, the scary part of Mexico, either the Dominican Republic or the nice part of Mexico and to WI. We're still figuring out when each will be. I know the first will be in April.

4. Are you doing any home renovations this year? New furniture? Yup, we are starting the kitchen reno now and will do all the floors either at the same time or shortly after. I am getting rid of our futon (if anyone is interested let me know) and replacing it with a glider (no I?m not preggers, I just like gliders). If we have the $ we?ll move onto finishing up the guest bath floor and start on the master bath.

1. Are you ready for Spring? Why? For shizzle. MrBAMF gets "SAD" when its not sunny/warm outside. T-shirts, sandals and shorts & patios make him a happier guy! Plus I really like when they daylight hours start getting longer. I feel so much more accomplished when it feels like there's more time in the day.
2. Do you have any trips coming up? I'm trying to plan out my 30th for late Sept or the 1st week of Oct. We may end up doing just WDW for a week, but doin it up right. I don't think (I hope!) I'll be in any shape for a cruise by the fall.
3. Are you planning to make any big purchases this year? We better not. We should be CC debt free by the end of summer, so I'd rather not go off and buy a damn thing unless its truly needed!
4. Are you doing any home renovations this year? New furniture? Well, we do need a new couch (the old one really is busted) but see above. MrBAMF wants a new mattress and the very least but we'd both love a new bed frame as well. We'll reevaluate in the fall.

1. Are you ready for Spring? Why? YES! I can't wait for the warm weather and eating outside! Me and my BFF are getting bikes so we can ride all over Atlanta!
2. Do you have any trips coming up? Yes, we are going to the Blueridge Mountains and staying in a cabin for 4 days with friends in April. I can't wait!

4. Are you doing any home renovations this year? New furniture? I would love to re-do our MBR closet but I don't know if we will be able to yet. I'm waiting on tax returns and bonuses to make a final decision. I really hope we are. I want a new close soooo badly!
