hanks to Mrs Jason I'm on a mission to go to Vegas. (I know I can take my dog) I was talking to my cousin that lives in Alaska and she would like to go also. The problem is she will have to bring her daughter that is 3. Well my DD wants to go but I was thinking of leaving her home this time.
So, should I take DD (13) and just skip all the adult activities? Or leave her at home and let my cousin's H stay in the room with the baby while we go and have fun?

Re: Poll....Vegas
I would take your DD. LIke Kendra said, if someone is staying back to watch the baby, then they could watch your 13 year old as well. Heck, your 13 year old could even help him out!
This trip was a different sort of trip for me. I knew that going in. Initially I didn't want to go to Vegas but my mom talked me into it with the line "Well, you stay at home all day in Texas, why not come to Vegas and have some company". At night, I did stay back in the room with Macy while everyone else gambled. But that was ok because I was limited on the amount of money I could spend.
Baby Macy is here!

I think it's all about what you want to do while you're there. If you want to hang out by the pool, do some shopping, do touristy stuff, and eat some good food, your DD would probably love all of that. If you really want to get some gambling time in and check out the nightlife, it's probably better to leave her at home.
I agree 100%, While I would love to go to a club, we most likely would not! I get a check 2x's a year from a casino, so I'm not a big gambler! (I don't get a check because people win) So I think I will take her with me!
H and I went to Vegas a couple of years ago and we were really surprised at how many kids were there. I guess I always had in my head Vegas was more for adults with all the gambling and stuff. But there were tons of families with everything from babies to teens when we went.
I voted to take her, just because your friend is bringing her child, even it's a small child. But it really all depends on how long you will be staying and what you plan on doing once there. You could do some daytime "family" things and then make some pans for more adult things at night. GL!
My silly Lily is almost 4.
Yes, I know it is kinda strange but he has to go. When we leave him he will not eat or go to the bathroom. And he tries to bite everyone that wants to pick him up. So, it is easier to take him than leave him at home.
