Bucks or Thor re: buffalo chicken sandwiches
When I was trying to figure out the bridal shower menu, you both mentioned this as something delicious but not very bridal shower-y. Now I'm trying to plan Fin's birthday party menu, and I thought of this.
It's just family and very close friends, so the only kids are my nieces and nephews who are 6 or older, so I could always have something else for them. Care to share the recipe?

with chicken, make sure you cook on low like the recipe says. i used frozen chicken breasts and just threw them in...i don't think you'll need 6-7 hours for fresh. just keep and eye on it. it's hard to dry it out bc of all the moisture, but i'd say 6-7 hours for FROZEN chicken and less for fresh.

oh man, don't give me a theme...i go overboard.
are you going to serve bananas? for a fun dessert for kiddos you could do frozen bananas dipped in chocolate rolled in fun things like m&ms, nuts, sprinkles. yep. DO IT

this is a little over the top, but here's a blog i found:

i would do fun things that sort of fit with a safari/jungle/monkey theme. fruit skewers are easy and cute. you could do something with banana bread...not sure what, but something! you could label the things like "elephant food" or "gorilla treats". use lots of animal prints (tastefully) as some decoration for teh tables (could be fun if u found like zebra or cheetah napkins. hmmmmm i think finley needs either a monkey outfit or the little safari outfit like in this blog
here's a monkey themed party on a blog i found:
