Anybody remember all the USPS rants we all pretty much had with our invitations and the rsvps for our weddings?

Well, they finally delivered one of our missing rsvps to our house today. Its only been 3.5 months since the wedding and even longer than that since my friend told me she sent it in the mail. It wasn't banged up, it wasn't returned to sender, it was just really, really, really late. Dude.

I was invited to a wedding a couple of years ago. When they emailed asking about my RSVP there were no details in the email. I had never received the invite. so not knowing place, date, time I declined. After the wedding (not sure how long) the invitation came back return to sender. She had put the wrong city on the address. So you never know what does and does not really reach its destination.

That is crazy! Our post office managed to misdirect 1,600 utility bills over Christmas including ours. Thankfully for those without automatic bill pay, the city noticed and extended the due date. What goes on in these places?!

There was a postmark on it, but I didn't think to look at the date. I'll check it when I get home. It was the rsvp from one of my bridesmaids so I knew when she got the invite and when she sent the rsvp, I just didn't get it until today, oddly enough. I think it must have gotten lost somewhere and they finally found it and delivered it.
