Does your DH remind you of any TV husbands?
The reason I picked ClaireDunphy is DH can be A LOT like Phil Dunphy. Not as goofy & spacey, but hot damn, some of the things that come out of his mouth are totally Phil.

This show isn't getting nearly enough viewers and will probably be canceled, but I lurve it... DH is the guy married to the blonde sister on Better with You.

DH is carefree, fun-loving, more simple Doug and I'm the cranky, serious, no-nonsense career-woman Carrie.
I would say Phil, too. In fact, we kinda are like Phil and Claire. DH is always saying random crap or forgetting things we JUST talked about. And I'm like really, honey?!? And I totally have "looks" like she does.

haha! DH calls that my sh!t face...and yes, the genes were strong for that one.
