I'm having a panic attack

My tv receptor box/DVR is broken. I cannot get a tech out to replace it until Friday. I was told I could bring it into AT&T and replace it myself so I did that during my lunch but that was in fact a lie.

I have no TV

I didn't get caught up on my DVR since last Friday.

Nothing will tape until I get my new box.

Where else can I watch my shows?

I feel dead inside

  • You need to be one of those people who screams, "This is unacceptable!" when people don't fix things instantaneously for you.  You poor, poor, poor, poor, poor, poor thing.  Perhaps if you explain your dyellemmuh to Best Buy, they'll let you stay there for the next few days?

This is no way to live.

  • Lots of networks have shows streaming on their websites a day after they originally air.

  • Try Hulu.com they have a lot of shows too

  • Our cable provider also has lots of shows on OnDemand a day or so after they air.

  • I agree with Cali. Best Buy has some nice TVs and comfy chairs. I bet they'd let you hang out at least during prime-time.

  • I was going to say Hulu or OnDemand, but those are already covered.

I like Cali's idea of hanging out in Best Buy.  Maybe sneak around in the bushes of your neighbors to see what they are watching.

I will collapse in the fetal position if my TV ever takes a break on me.

  • Do you have U-Verse? If so AT&T has an iPhone app that lets you watch your DVR'd shows on your phone.

  • This one time our TiVo broke.  It was the worst day of our lives.  We screamed and cursed at the heavens.  We try not to speak of that day.

  • I do have AT&T but my phone sucks (3G with 4.2 installed so it freezes). i will try hulu. and crying
  • casttv.com has stuff that I haven't found on the main sites (like some showtime series, etc.) - might be worth a shot if you can't find on hulu, fancast, etc.
