WFD?

H is at a work event til about 9...so I am on my own.

I was thinking of making brinner, but I don't want it anymore (was going to do eggs, blueberry pancakes, turkey bacon).

The I thought of salmon croquettes w/ couscous, but I don't really want that, either.

What are you having?

Re: WFD?

  • You are thinking way too fancy for dinner without the hubs. That's when you go for the Mac n Cheese and half a box of cookies.

We're having burgers but I haven't decided if I'm doing good ol' American cheeseburgers, feta burgers, or barbecue bacon cheeseburgers.

  • I think we're doing burgers, too. I have leftover soup I made last night, but JJ wasn't a fan.

  • Sold. I am making a burger instead. :)

  • I'm thinking leftover pizza, eggs, or spaghetti with butter and breadcrumbs. E is at the Liz Phair concert with my sister's H tonight.
  • I'm working tonight....so....

Ham and cheese with avocado sammy

    Baked chips

    Blueberries

    Greek yogurt

    Grape tomatoes

    Clementines

    an orange

(and some cookie cups that are leftover from this afternoon's blondie craving)

Holy batman that is a lot of food. Are you pregnant? Wink

I was going to make Lemon Chicken Stir-fry but I forgot to pull chicken out this morning to defrost. So I'm thinking tortellinis and marinara sauce. And some pears. This will not excite DH at all when he comes home, but he had cereal for dinner last night so I consider this a step up.

    Holy Heck NOOOOO!!!

I get really hungry at work, so I always pack lots of healthy snack options.  I don't always eat it, but I would rather have something healthy to much on than go out and get junk food. In fact, I brought in the orange a couple of days ago, and it's been sitting in our fridge, waiting to be eaten.

I could totally eat that much food at any given time.  My mom used to pack me HUGE lunches... huge enough that other kids commented on it in our YEARBOOK.
