another snow day!
classes were cancelled tonight (WOOOHOOO!!!) and we're working from home tomorrow. we're expected to get another foot tonight. i can't remember the last time i've seen this much snow on the ground. this is our 4th snow day of the month so far. i'm not complaining!!!!

class was canceled for me, too, tonight. weather is baaaaad. traffic is horrendous. even the presidential motorcade got stuck in it despite police escorts! it's supposed to end around midnight here.
It's funny, because I grew up with snow and I hate how warm it has been here. It's winter, it's supposed to be cold!
It took DH over 6 hours to get home from work in DC (normally a 45-60 min drive.) I cannot believe what a mess this place becomes after a few darn inches of snow. I know, I know, they aren't used to it, don't have a lot of plows, etc. but WSDFJSDFKSUO I am annoyed.
I AM hopeful for a day off tomorrow, hopefully for both of us, otherwise he will be waking up in just a few hours to do it all over again.
Same here. It is going to be 60 tomorrow and we have had a VERY mild winter. This is Colorado for heaven sakes! We should be getting more snow. At least the mountains are getting plenty so it won't ruin camping this summer. Also I am not complaining too hard. I am enjoying the warmth while we have it.
