cross your fingers for us please!
DH and I are on year one of actually making money at our small business that we run at home in our spare time. I am off to the accountant tomorrow to go through things. We didn't pay estimated taxes at all because we had no idea what we'd be making - if we made anything at all - and hoped that our regular witholding from our regular jobs would cover the money we'd have to pay in as income tax for the business. I'm hoping that with deductions we can take for our vehicles, cell phones, electricity etc, that the impact isn't too horrible to swallow and we'll still end up with a little extra coming back to us to go towards our kitchen remodel finally! We bought cabinets for this remodel with our refund last year but due to various hiccups along the way, had to put off starting the work for so long. I'm anxious to get this thing done!
