It looks like I missed a good time yesterday. Mondays and Wednesdays are terrible for me I have absolutely no free time.
Anyway, today is the second visit for our homestudy. I'm not nervous this time, I'm actually kind of excited. One step closer.
Leo: I'm sorry your sick and homesick. To make you smile my new kids (the babies as I call them) have started calling me versions of the last part of my last name, so Mrs. Claws, the Claw, Mistyclaw, teachlaw. It's kinds funny.

I spent half an hour hauling garbage bags out to the bin last night and only got 12 bags moved. My grip gave out before anything else. And, it hardly looks like I made a dent in them. This is going to take a few days!
Derek's back at work today, but not feeling 100%. I think he's just a bit weak from the small amount of food he's had over the last few days. At least it's small compared to what he normally eats. It was weird to make a recipe for 4 and actually have 2 servings left over!
Tonight will be more garbage hauling, and maybe some Grey's.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Today is a normal day. Worked out this morning, and a decent day at work. Going our for drinks with coworkers and then probably catch up on American Idol later on tonight.

Good morning! We had a nasty slush/snowstorm last night. The feds didn't close, though, only did a two-hour delay. But we also lost power, have no hot water or heat, so I'm at work. I do plan on leaving early because I didn't take advantage of the delay and want to leave when it's still light out so I can spot ice on the walk home.

Our puppy's surgery went well, but a dog with a conehead is the most pitful thing. Poor baby. I can't leave her without it though, since she immediately removed the bandage when I took it off to let her outside to go potty.

I've been feeling a little off all week and am now beyond ready for a weekend. I don't feel bad, just completely exhausted no matter how early I go to bed. So my goal is to make it through today and tomorrow with as little effort as possible and then take it easy this weekend.

Can I vent for a sec? I have been at work for 2 1/2 hours, been busy, and still I haven't gotten anything done! I'm ordering invoices and every invoice I receive is WRONG! It takes over a day to get a response from anyone when I tell them the invoices are wrong, then it's a month before I can get a new one. I am so frustrated! Work has just been insanely busy since November. Every time I try to get my normal stuff done, something crazy comes up that takes up my time and then I get backed up on the regular stuff that has to be done daily/monthly. Ugh!
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?

Today is a busy day at work, every Tuesday and Thursday are it seems. Then after work we are having a bunch of our Young Life kids over for a games night. So it is going to be a pretty chaotic day. Hopefully everything will work out wonderfully.

V's defense was scheduled for 10:00 this morning. He messaged me a few minutes ago to say he was alone in the hallway. That either means that he finished the presentation and the committee is deliberating, or no one has shown up in the first place. I'm keeping all of my fingers and toes crossed... this is the big one! (The second one would be almost a formality.)
Also.... our condo is supposed to be listed today!

I'm at home today. I haven't been feeling well the past couple days, and then we got some snow last night, so I decided to take a day off. I've been feeling really off lately and really tired. currently on cycle day 28 and no signs of AF, so I tested last night and got a BFN. I'm thinking it's way too early, so I'm going to give it a few days and if AF doesn't show up, I'll be testing again on Monday.

My annual review for work is today. I want to throw up.
I've made it to the gym 3 times this week, and I went 3 times last week, I will make this a pattern.
Since I haven't done anything for myself lately, I splurged and signed up for a 4 night digital camera workshop to finally learn the ins and outs of my DSLR camera before we go to Africa.

What an awesome morning for the Aug09 ladies! Glad to finally hear some good news all around.
This morning we finally got a delay. Our school is infamous for never shutting down, so it was great that I could get in a few more hours of sleep. I think my body really needed it. Plus, I fell asleep with DH on the couch last night around 8, so I'm pretty good and rested. Just one more day until the weekend!
