what would you think...

...if you were looking at a house, and the master bath shower had two shower heads? .....like, one at each side.

DH and I are watching House Hunters, and the guy on the show said, "two shower heads? what do you need with those? what do you walk back and forth?" his wife just kind of giggled a little bit.

This guy seemed seriously confused.

DH and I always talk about how we want two shower heads eventually so that one of us isn't waiting in the cold when we shower together...I mean, it's not like we do it a whole lot, but we'd do it more if we had two shower heads.

  • Well, I have never seen this but what a good idea!  So I just decided that someday we're going to have two shower heads.  We shower together on occasion but by the end, someone is always left freezing.  What a good idea!

  • DH and I were just talking about this the other day! We want a mega shower with the wall units and steam lol (except that kind of goes against my whole environmentally friendly perspective on life). We used to ONLY shower together and when we bought our house the shower in our master is a garden shower that we barely fit in together, so we're stopped.  The other night we took a shower in the spare bath (which is the roman tub with shower nozzle at the top) and were reminded how much it sucks to wait in the cold end lol.
  • That's an awesome idea! Those showers with all the heads coming out all over the place are pretty awesome, too. The cold end of our shower is also where the window in our bathroom is - making it doubly awful in winter! I really want a shower upgrade now. Damn it!

I live next to the Kohler Design Center (and the entire Kohler Company), and they have one of these in their showroom. It's awesome to see (they have it complete with running water and mood lighting). Makes me want to live in the shower... lol. ok, maybe not. But it'll be a nice relaxing retreat...

Someday I hope I can convince my tight wad of a husband and remodel the bathroom. Already have been begging lightly for some time now.

What hotels have this?  Give me some examples!  Any near Disney?

I imagine it would save a lot of time.  Even now when we shower together but have to take turns it goes twice as fast than if we go one at a time.
