A fun conversation with my niece
I called my mom a little while ago and my 4 year old niece wanted to talk to me.
She wanted to know if I had the baby now. I said no. Then she asked if the baby was in my tummy and I said yes. Then she asked when I would have the baby. I told her it would be just after her brother's birthday in September and that's still a long time away. Then she asked if I was fat. I said not yet and won't be for a while. Then she asked if I was going to name the baby Snowflake. I said no the baby will have a real name but she could call the baby Snowflake, just like how her real name is Ryleigh but I call her Berry-cakes.
When she was all done asking questions about the baby she wanted to talk to Uncle Jay. Due to the snow and his long commute he is staying at a hotel near his work tonight so he's not home. I told her that Uncle Jay wasn't home and she asked where he was. So I lied a little and said he was at work. She then asked if he was going to go back to war. I told her not for a long, long time.
Then she started talking about a party we had with a fire and a hot dog roller (like the ones at 7-11). This party was before Jay deployed. She is just too cute.
