PIP Chicken

Rock asked me about my ladies last week, and it just so happens I am dealing with a broody hen this week.  I have been taking her in the house a couple of times a day to try to break her of it.  Here she is!  All grown up now!

Re: PIP Chicken

  • Wow I can't believe how big she is. The last pictures I saw were when they were chicks.

  • That's soooo cute!

I saw the subject of Chicken and I thought.. oh great... a new chicken recipe! But that was just such a cute picture! I'm now picturing my cat dealing with a chicken in the house... I don't think that would end well for the chicken. ; (

  • This seems weird to say about a chicken, but she's so pretty!  I still think it's so freakin' cool that you keep chickens.  I keep hearing that fresh-laid eggs taste so much better than store-bought but I just can't wrap my brain around how.  You'll just have to have me over for breakfast sometime Wink

Thanks for indulging me and sharing the pics!

I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Ha ha ha ha.  I wonder what your cat would think!  My dog is actually amazing with them.  When they were babies they would crawl all over him.

The eggs are really good.  We get so many (when it is not freezing cold) that we give a ton away.  If sometime we meet up I will for sure bring you a dozen!

I would love that!  Maybe I'll get motivated to plan a GTG once the weather is warmer.  No one took the lead on the Dedham thing (and I think that's too far for you anyway).

Dedham is super far from me.  I am wishy washy on big get togethers anyways.  Ha ha ha.  You know that.  I am too shy.

Doesn't have to be a big GTG, I don't think that many people were planning on going to Dedham anyway.  But I know you've met at least a couple of the ladies here so I hope we can meet sometime too.  We'll figure it out once we don't have to wade through piles of snow (uphill both ways!) Smile
