Vent - Family stuff, argh...
I'm so upset, girls. I just got off the phone with my mom, she was telling me all about the weekend, and my sister had taken the boys out to visit their dad, and thank goodness he didn't bring his girlfriend to drop them off again....What?? Beep beep, back it up. So the truth comes out. My sister told my parents a while ago, I had my suspicions, but I didn't want to believe it. Turns out he's had a girlfriend on the side for what sounds like a good long while.
Thank goodness my sister got the eff out of there.
I'm so upset, hurt for my sister, hurt for the boys. The first weekend visit they had, he brought this girl with him to bring the boys back to where he was meeting my sister. She flipped out and said those weekends are for HIM and the boys, not for him to parade this girl around in front of her and play house with her sons. She said she was not ok with that and if he doesn't respect her and the boys then he won't see them anymore (they're still working out divorce and custody and trying to handle things amicably). You know what his retort was? "Well, I am not ok with you changing your name back to your maiden name on Facebook!". The turd cheated on my sister and expects her to keep his name? No, they're not divorced yet, but seriously?
Ugh! I am just so mad at him. I want to kick him in the shins for being so stupid. My sister's a good, beautiful person, she puts her heart into everything and he broke her. The past few weekends I've been home she's been down and quiet and I should have reached out to her, but I didn't know what was going on, and I wanted to leave it up to her if she wanted to open up to me.
*sigh* Thanks for letting me vent.

omg how awful. That guy sounds like a major asshat and good for her for getting out of the situation, but I feel so bad for what he's putting their sons through. Your family is definitely in my T&P!
