Boudoir Pictures
Has anyone done them? If so, can you tell us a little bit about your experience? I am looking at getting something like this done for my husband, but am a little nervous about it. How do you decide what to wear? Does the photographer see anything that maybe my husband might not want to be seen? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Heather - there's a marathon coming up in Chicago...oh dang, actually I think it's this weekend.
But, how far are you from Chicago? It seems like they have one (well known photographers) every so often.

I did them before the wedding for a gift for Joe. I picked things that I was comfortable in. I'm a curvy girl, and some things would never work for me. So I did a cute pair of VS undies that said "Kiss the bride" with a really fitted red tank; a black lace cami/boy short set; and a gray and pink cami/short set.
The photog will see you in what you're wearing obviously, and then mine saw my tush for one shot we did. I think it's up to you. My photog was a woman so I don't think Joe would've minded regardless, and my sisters were there the whole time with me.
I enjoyed it, I was super comfortable with the photographer, she put on fun music, made jokes, and like I said before, my sisters were with me which made the whole thing really easy going. They'd say funny stuff to get me to laugh naturally, like tw*at waffle, douche canoe, etc lol.
And I loved my pics, they turned out so beautiful, and made me feel so beautiful. I'm really glad I did them.
I did them! And I loved every second of it. I am by no means your typical sex-pot but I think every single woman should do this.
I chose pieces of lingerie that I felt comfortable in. I even went out and bought new bras and some super cute ruffle butt panties. I used one of Mikes white dress shirts and the tie he wore at the wedding.
I am telling you it was so much FUN!

I did them for Lance for Chirstmas last year. My wedding photog actually did mine, he is a guy but I am really comfortable with him and my BF was there the whole time. Lance didn't care at all that it was a guy doing them he was justso shocked to get them in the first place.
I wore one of his white dress shirts, unbuttoned, with a long necklace, black boy shorts and black pumps for one shot. Then, I wore a red satin skirt with velvet trim (from VS) and a white bra (for my christmas themed pics), these were all taken at my house so those were done by the Christmas tree. I did some in the kitchen wearing just an apron and cute boyshort underwear, and the last ones I did were in our bed with our tan sheets and I was wearing a leopard print bra and VS cheeky underwear.
Then I bought Lance a new wallet and had some of the pictures printed in wallet size and put them in there, he was SHOCKED!!
I also reccommend doing them, it was so much fun!!
I really want to do this for our first anniversary as well. I know Mike would freak out and I think it must give some sense of freedom and sexy to the woman, that I'd love to feel!
I am making a promise to myself to do it this Summer.
I really want to do them for my husband as well for our first anniversary. I know we still have a while until then, but I want to decide if I would feel comfortable doing them and if so finding a photographer and some outfits. I would love to look at a picture of myself and think wow I look hot! What woman doesn't?!?
Hannah-I live about 1 1/2 to 2 hours from Chicago. Do you know of any photographers and when they do these sessions?
I finally got a chance to check out the pictures and I must say it makes me want to do a session now
) Still a bit nervous, but after reading some comments from others that have done it I think I will be fine. Thanks for sharing!
