Got the call at 6AM this morning that we had another snow day due to the storm climbing up the east coast. Only 1-3 inches of snow predicted here (central VA) in my county, but I work in a different county where 6-8 inches were predicted! I'm hoping to have the rest of the week off school.
Re: Snow day again! :)
You could SHARE, ya know.
(mutter about selfish northern people and all their snow hoarding.)
Big, big like the moon...
So jealous! I slipped and slided my way to work today (and then home again) -- I saw all the schools closing on the news this morning and thought just maybe the clinic would close but nooo..hahaha
You can have all my snow...I don't want it! Please take it!
Uhhh I know what you mean - we live in a condo and its mostly street parking. Its so bitter sweet because they are pretty good about keeping the road plowed, but with all parallel parking we all just end up plowed in lol.

Whimps.
We had 16 inches of snow on a Sunday afternoon/night and I still had to come to work. Although, I think Minneapolis and St Paul public schools actually canceled which is UNHEARD of; it was the first snow day in like 20 years or something. Probably since the Halloween blizzard of '91, actually.
Is this the part where I get to laugh at you all, while I enjoy my 35 degrees and watching our snow piles disappear?
I can't believe how much snow you guys have gotten out east this winter!

A lot of schools here are already out of snow days and it isn't even February yet!! When NYC schools are closed you know it is bad, they almost NEVER close!
Love the snow and I am so mad that we live in a strange "snow line" (like, it snows EVERYWHERE AROUND US but not here so much). Seriously, even an hour away they get more snow than we do. Enjoy it!
