So I mentioned it in the NOTD post below so I figured I'd share some pics, some of you may have seen them on FB. When DH and I were visiting the ILs in TX we went to his dad's. His dad made the mistake of telling me that he had 2 litters of puppies outside. I of course went out an played with one of the litters (the other 1 is a stray's that they picked up on the side of the road and that mom isn't friendly). Well I fell in love with this one pup. I didn't think that DH would let me take him home but DH really like him too. Chase also mentioned that he has always wished we had a larger dog for when he's out of town on business (this will be increasing w/ the career change he's looking at) just for intimidation purposes.
His name is Achilles, my SIL named him that because he's the largest of the litter. It was perfect as we have a Zeus at home.
He was about 5 weeks old when these photos were taken. His dad is a Rottweiler and his mom was a Pitt Bull/Boxer mix. He definitely takes after his dad in looks & size. Some of the pups were a lot smaller and some looked a lot more like Pitts. Achilles is super sweet and laid back (or I wouldn't have even considered him since we have 2 small dogs). He's going to be flying up here in a little over 2 weeks. He will be 10 weeks old then.

Re: AW'ing the new puppy! PIP
adorable.
I am sure he'll be just fine coming into the pack as a baby! My mom has two small dogs and my 45lbs-er is adjusting well.
Yea, that's what I'm hoping and why I want to get him so soon. Roxy is a very dominate dog (at 7lbs) and she runs the show when we're with my mom's dog who is a 70lb Norwegian Elkhound. I'm excited to have him while he's just a little bit bigger than my little guys so that they can establish the pecking order and all now. Plus he's super laid back. He laid on his back in my lap forever.

My BIL took a puppy too, so I think there are 6 left! & They're in TX so you're gonna have to drive the other way!!
Holly, ever since we came home I keep telling DH that I just want to "pinch his little cheeks and snuggle him"
Oh. My. God.
