Is this tacky?
I have a friend on FB that is pregnant with her second child. She is throwing herself a baby shower. She says she's "helping her mom out" because her mom is busy. I don't really believe that. She picked a location, paid for it, bought the invites, is mailing and/or hand delivering them....everyday her status says something about this baby shower. I just feel like it's tacky to throw your own baby shower...especially since I know there are people that would be willing to do it for her. I threw her baby shower the first time around.
Honestly it isn't my problem because I don't live there anymore and I can hide her FB posts...but the board is dead so I was hoping this might awake someone.

Yeah, I don't even like throwing my own 'birthday party' (which is why I don't). I wouldn't even think about throwing my own baby shower. .
But then again, to each their own. . .
hmmm...I should go back and throw my self a baby shower!!! J/K
And her current status message "an unattractive side effect to pregnancy, peeing yourself when you sneeze! Depends may be a necessity for the 3rd trimester, just sayin!"
