Haven't heard from MIL in weeks. Literally weeks. She e-mails DH this morning and asks if she can spend the day with the baby tomorrow. So DH writes, cancel DC my mom wants to babysit. We can save $$.

I want to be like, whooptie fricken do. You mean she just found out today that she has tomorrow off? Glad to know she's alive and wants to fit us into her busy schedule (enter sarcasm).

I'm just annoyed cause I know she has probably had plenty of days off over the last few weeks. And when she does work she only works like 4 hour shifts. She hasn't called, hasn't asked how we are or how he is in WEEKS and all of a sudden, we should just be so excited cause she E-MAILS and she wants to see the baby tomorrow.

I don't know who I"m more annoyed with, her or my DH.

    I would probably be annoyed too for all the reasons that you described.  However, count your blessings.  You haven't heard from MIL IN WEEKS! Drinks

    I'm right with you with my MIL.  It took her 3 weeks to return our Christmas call.  She failed to call either DH or I for our birthdays (and she didn't send a card).  She refuses to return Emails, as she's not into the computer (although she does play farmville...and even set up a farm for DH and maintains that for him..which he could care less).  I even sent her a photo book of Adrian and DH had to ask her if she got it (when she finally returned our call 3 weeks after Christmas).  I go from being sooo mad...to counting my blessings that she is 'too busy' for us.  Ugh..MILs.  Please don't let me be that type of MIL when our little guy gets married.

    This has nothing to do with MILs but for anyone on my fb friends list...I do not play farmville haha my mom loves it(i love that woman so much, but she is a dork) and she maintains my farm haha just wanted to throw that out there! :)

     

    Sorry about your MIL, I think that was always a fear of mine before I got married haha. Though I have only been married 4 months, I have to say my MIL is wonderful so far and hopefully will be the same when we have kids. Her sister and mom are a bit nuts, but thankfully they live in MA.
