Hi there! I've recently seen some recommendations on TB to come check out this board since it's much more active than the local board there, so here I am. I've lurked for a few days and yep, it's definitely more active! Anyway, as you can tell from my sig, I'm rather pregnant, working on becoming extremely pregnant. I live in St. Pete w/ my husband and a small herd of pets (2 dogs and 2 cats, all very clingy). I'm an OB nurse and I work night shift, so I generally stick to a nocturnal schedule. I

photography, traveling, baseball, and Disney theme parks. I've lived in FL my entire life (St. Pete and Orlando, for UCF), but we don't plan on staying here too much longer. I'm ready for seasons and sanely-priced homeowner's insurance. Ok, I think that's me in a nutshell. Looking forward to hanging out on this board!

Agreed. We can trade spots if you'd like. I'm WAY over the snow.
Thanks!
We're looking at North Carolina, maybe Raleigh? My whole family wants to get out of here and it seems to be an area that would work well for all of us, and it doesn't appear to get too cold. And my inlaws live in Nashville and Atlanta so we'd still be about the same distance from them.
I would love to live in Nashville. #1 choice.
Hi there! They are definitely sympathetic but it is still tough sometimes/most of the time. Our unit is HUGE!! My back hurts sooo much when I'm working, and I know it's only going to get worse!!

Haha actually I'm a USF grad...I went to UCF for 3 years and then had to transfer. At the rate my husband was getting into classes for his major, he'd probably still be working on his BA! He was able to finish on time at USF. I do have really fond memories of UCF though (met my husband there 10 years ago this year - OMG I'm getting old!) and I'm considering applying for one of their (online) grad programs (MHSA) next year. I have 2 degrees from USF and I think I'm ready for a change! So, Go Knights and Go Bulls!
Hi & welcome!
Your dogs are super cute! what kind are they?
I also love photography and traveling! do you have any upcoming vacations planned?
Thank you! My spotted dog on the left is supposedly a "pointer mix" and my brown dog on the right appears to be a pit bull, though sometimes he is a "vizsla/boxer mix".
We have no trips planned for the foreseeable future, as my baby is due in about 2 months. I'm itching for a road trip though, so hopefully we'll get to take her some place cool this summer! I'm sure we'll at least hit up ATL and Nashville to visit family. I have some skymiles saved too and I'd like to go Vermont...I'm sure we'll be in for quite the experience the first time we fly with the baby!
