  • HI!

Just wanted to let you know the boards are slow on the weekends.  There aren't very many girls who live on the coast here--but you may be able to get some advice.

    Good luck!

  • Hi, I lived in WIlmington, NC for 4 years while I was in college. The local schools are nice. If you are interested in Private there are a few options. I would recommend living in an area where your child(ren) could go to Ashley High School. That one seemed to be the best in the area. I think that would mean living in the Monkey Junction area. Hope this helps!

  • Hello!

Sorry, I don't check this board very often but I live in Wilmington.

If you're looking for good public school districts, try the 28412 zip code and aim for the Ashley or Hoggard High School districts.

I love living in Wilmington, and as long as you have a job secured before you move here you should be ok.  The job market is always pretty bad here.  Positions generally pay lower than in other parts of NC, but the COL is a bit higher.
