Good morning mamie and other J9 ladies! Week was good, but this has seemed like long week. I got up at 6am four days this week to walk on the treadmill and lost 2.6 pounds. That should keep me motivated to keep it up, hopefully.

Today-DH is coming home from a business trip, so I think it will be a low key evening.

Tomorrow-I have a dentist appointment at 8:30 and A has his checkup at 10. We are having date night, first one since November. Don't know what we're doing yet. We were thinking about seeing a movie, any suggestions?

Sunday-church and then nothing planned. I'd like to get the spare bedroom cleaned though. It is horrendous. We just keep throwing stuff in there and it bugs me every time I'm looking for something.

I feel like I'm getting sick, so there's a good chance I'll be spending the whole weekend in bed.

Good morning!

My week started off not so great with lots of drama at work, but then I had 2 snow days (yesterday and today) so I can't really complain!

DH's company is having a 2011 kick-off party tomorrow night and I'm supposed to wear a "cocktail length dress" or "evening separates." I'll probably be spending tonight/tomorrow morning trying to figure out an outfit. I sense a trip to the mall in my future.

I teach in a Catholic school and Sunday is the beginning of Catholic Schools Week, meaning I have to go to Mass and then we have an open house for prospective families. I was in a sorority in college and the whole process reminds me of formal recruitment because I'll spend the entire afternoon convincing people why our school is better than all the other schools all while not saying anything that would seem like I'm promising their children will be accepted if they apply.

Morning! Happy Friday... my week has been better than I expected since my boss has been out all week so I've had much less aggravation at work. Also they posted a job internally this morning for a finance position that I'm going to apply for so who know's maybe something will come of that and make my whole job situation better. Also I got some good news at my doctor's appt on Wednesday that things are progressing well and they don't think I will go past my due date (or maybe even make it to the date) but of course that's all subjective and baby will come when she wants to.

As for the weekend, my parents are coming down tonight but won't get here until late and staying for the weekend. We dont really have any plans except my mom and I are going to get pedicures (which I'm ridiculously excited about because its been forever and I can't even reach my toes right now).

Yay for Friday!

In an effort to get out of the funk I've been in lately, I've made lots of plans this weekend, but not until tomorrow. Tonight will be more unpacking.

Tomorrow: I have to go to our old place and pick up the last couple items we forgot (like sprinklers) and give the keys to the landlord. Then I'm meeting up with the only coworker I became friends with at my last place for drinks and gossip time!

Sunday: baby shower, followed by girl's night at the movies to see Black Swan! I'm excited!

Yes, a happy Friday it is!! I'm decreasing my hours at job 1, which means I now have Friday afternoons off (mostly to catch up on stuff for job 2). But it is wonderful getting out at noon and having a bit of an extended weekend! I think I'm going to enjoy this!

We have a bit of a low-key weekend planned which I am looking forward to. I'm hoping to get in some snowshoeing as I haven't been able to really enjoy the massive amounts of snow we have! Friends of ours just closed on a real fixer-upper so we're probably going to help them out as well.

We're finally getting settled in. I haven't been much help in the settling area until recently due to getting a sinus and upper respiratory infection while moving last weekend. I'm finally feeling better, so I hope to get a lot done tonight. Rufus was a little uneasy at first, but he seems to be settling in. He's picked his favorite spot in the backyard to sunbathe in already, and there aren't nearly as many neighboring dogs for him to bark at (woohoo!). I think he's having trouble finding a good spot to lay down inside other than his bed because he's used to tile floors and now we have all carpet, except the kitchen. So, I occasionally find him sleeping in there! lol Poor guy needs a "cool" spot or he's just not happy!
