GOOD GOD. Jenelle's mom is bsc. She WON and she doesn't give Jenelle an inch. J got a job, is buying baby items (so what that she bought a few things for herself, her mom clearly isn't having her pay rent etc), and yet she can't take the baby out of the house by herself? Dear Lord. That woman needs therapy, and not in my standard everyone needs therapy way. She really needs to chill the hell out and realize that her daughter is really trying to turn over a new leaf.
Chelsea, in my opinion, remains an entitled brat. Her father is not showing her any favors by being such an enabler. AND she doesn't appreciate him at all, or respect him, as she isn't keeping up any of her end of the bargains--keeping up and excelling in school, not dating, not seeing Adam at all...
Kailyn is clueless. I still side with her baby daddy's parents, and I think she is using them. I feel bad for her, but I do think that she has no idea of what is normal and what she is doing. She is resentful that she 'has' to break up with Jordan. Don't children HAVE to live with their parents? Couldn't she petition to MAKE her mom allow her to live there? Her mom and Jenelle's mom can join a WTF were/are you thinking club, as she should be home with her and not shacking up with her boyfriend or ex-boyfriend. Especially now that her mom isn't homeless.
Leah's sweet, and totally made me smile when her and her baby daddy decided to get back together, but yet to still be young. They are also lucky to have fairly normal and supportive families who want what is best for them.
Anyway, that is my two cents for this evening! BTW, if you watched it on MTV.com like me, what do you think about the Bieber movie?
Re: Have we discussed Teen Mom?? (spoilers)
I agree with everything by the Kailyn assessment. I get (from last week's discussion on here) that I am in the minority, but I think she's a girl who seriously has her sh*t together (WhyTF did she have to take Isaac to her college orientation? Does Jo EVER take him off her hands? He is a major le douche, imho) and she wasn't actively seeking a boyfriend, she wasn't like, "I think I'm going to date someone now..." She was at her job (the girl is in college, has a job, has a deadbeat mom and a le douche babydaddy...) and a cute boy was like, "wanna hang out?" and this is right after her a-hole ex-bf dumps her and treats her like crap, ("I don't hate you...yet.") I get that she just wanted to go have ice cream with a boy. Her one fatal flaw in my book on the whole issue is that she told Jo by changing her facebook relationship status. That gets a serious, "Girl, I thought you had your sh*t together" side-eye from me. But other than all that...I think Jo is super duper lame, the girl has no where else to go, and I don't think her having ice cream with a guy from her work in the park is all that terrible. Jo's parents just want her and Jo to get back together (which, judging from next weeks preview, happens), and I think that's a little immature (of her parents to meddle in the love lives of 16 year olds...b/c um, let's face it - chances are slim to none they're going to make it longterm).
Also, I don't know...she's not exactly "shacking up with her boyfriend or ex-boyfriend" either...it's not even HIS house. It's his parents house. And she's living in the basement, he's in his own room upstairs. She's getting treated like crap by her ex-bf (even before she was dating someone else), with no where else to go. I totally feel for her. Them "letting her live there" is them also providing shelter for their own grandson. She probably could go live on a friends couch or something...but she'd have their grandson with her. I guess I don't see them allowing her to live there as some huge concession and "favor"...they have a responsibility to their grandchild (Or, if not...which is fair...JO has a responsibility to his child) to not toss them on the street when the room in the basement being occupied by her/Isaac isn't hurting anyone or anything (except for the le douche babydaddy's ego).
Oh and yeah - I haaaaaaaaa....aaaaaaated Jennelle in her 16&preggo, and the first Teen Mom 2 ep, but now, I am totally with you - it's her mom that is 100% cer.ti.fi.a.ble. I am thinking the only good that might have come out of the custody thing is that Jennelle has a fire under her azz to work hard, get her sh*t together, and get back custody. Otherwise, little Jace is going to be even more effed up than his poor mother. Grandma is whack.
And I could've sworn I've seen season previews (when they were advertising the entire upcoming new season) with Leah and Corey getting married...so none of their reunion is a surprise to me. I like her, and am sad for them their baby is having medical issues. I hope they make it. I hope they "beat the odds"
You nailed it with Chelsea. She bugs me...entitled little brat to the max.

very good points, but I think we both are thinking that is not Janelle's mom's reasons... :-) I usually would agree with you on the whole STAY HOME then front, but I think that fireworks are different, and it was just a power play or a passive aggressive thing to make it so she couldn't bring him, and when she got all sad that there were other babies there, younger than jayce, it made me sad. I also think that given everything, some trust needs to be put out by Janelle's mom as she is trying--she has a job now, she seems to be having a vested interest in being a better person...
