DS is going to the doctor today

And he's getting his 2 month shots. The poor boy's reflux and allergies are getting worse (again), so my heart is already breaking for him. Now he has to get shots on top of it all! Crying

I'm definitely going to be one of those moms who cries more than he does.

  • Oh no.  Poor little guy.  Poor you too...it must be so sad.
  • Aww, poor mommy and baby!
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • Thanks ladies, I'm pretty much dreading it. I need to leave the house in about 30 minutes, and DS is sleeping peacefully and it makes me feel even worse since he has no idea what's coming! Plus DH is away for work, so I need to go myself. I think my dad isn't at work because of the snow, so I'm going to try to get him to come along for moral support!

  • How did he do?

DS cried in the office, but then slept/ate off and on for 4 hours, then screamed bloody murder for 3 hours, then crashed until midnight. Then he was ALL smiles and giggles again!

The shots were horrible. I have never heard him cry like that. It was such a genuine "you hurt me" cry. I'm already dreading his 4 month appointment because I never want to hear him make that sound again.

He slept for about an hour, woke up and was crying a really sad, pitiful, hurt cry. He didn't really want to eat, just fuss. He fell asleep around 8pm, at 4oz at 2am, then slept again until about 7am. He definitely feels better this morning, but he's still a little fussy.
