What are your "swear by" cleaning products?

Mine is the Magic Eraser!  I need stock in them.

Re: What are your "swear by" cleaning products?

    1. Bleach, my mother swears by it for cleaning kitchen sink and disinfecting.
  • I try to use natural things, like vinegar, baking soda and 7th Generation. However, some things look so much better after using Soft Scrub with Bleach. It makes my white kitchen sink look brand new.

  • Pledge multi-surface.

  • dishsoap, vinegar, borax, Watkins all purpose spray, Soft Scrub and Pledge wipes.
  • I love me some soft scrub! Always makes things look "cleaner" for some reason.
  • Vinegar +baking soda+magic eraser.  I love them...they're natural, cheap, clean well, deodorize and so safe that you can eat them (well, not the eraser!)

I also like Method's all purpose cleaner because it smells good!

  • Who doesn't love Magic Erasers?  I neeeeeeeed them.  Whenever my mom is in the state I have her buy them in buckets from Sam's Club for me with her membership, lol.

My husband, though, loves to clean with bleach... he bleaches our dishes.  But... as long as he's doing the dishes, he can do them however he wants!

  • Lysol for counters and floors, Comet for kitchen sink and bathrooms, Old English for wood.
  • STEAM! I have steam floor mop and also a hand held unit for countertops, shower, tub, etc. No chemicals, kills germs and loosens up sticky & greasy stuff.
  • vinegar, baking soda and tea tree oil. Love how clean things smell when I add a few drops of tea tree oil. Really miss using it when I'm pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • Murphy's Oil Soap for my cabinets and Magic eraser for the bathrooms!
  • Magic Eraser, vinegar, and Bar Keeper's Friend. I can clean almost anything in my house with that stuff.
  • Magic Eraser
    Soft Scrub w/ Bleach
    Bleach
Awesome (I buy it at the Amish grocery store, I have no idea where else it's available)
    Various All Purpose Cleaners
    Resolve Carpet Cleaner
Pledge (regular wipes and all surface cleaner wipes)
    Windex
    Clorox Toilet Cleaner
    Comet for our bath tub

Obviously I am not an all-natural cleaner type of girl.... and do not have children or pets.

I have the Hann steam mop and really like.  I know the Shark gets good reviews also. For the hand held steamer, I just picked up one for $20 at one of our local stores.

  • Mmm, method stuff always smelll good!  love baking soda, borax, washing soda, vinegar & tang- cleans some stains- a little abbrasive & nice smell

  • I think a combination of Comet and Fantastic (with Brillo if needed) can clean anything! I also swear by Resolve for carpets, and love Clorox Clean-up for the bathroom, or weird ice pop, kool-aid, or wine stains on light colored surfaces.

  • Pledge multi surface is amazing. I also love Clorox anywhere.
  • The Haan steam mop is great!  Love it.  I would not return to to regular mop ever.  I steam my counters with it too.  Bed Bath and Beyond sell it online and a couple other places.  It's the yellow one that I have.  You can bring your 20% coupon to BB&B and they will refund that amount after you receive the steam mop.
  • Is tea tree oil dangerous while preg/breastfeeding?  I've never cleaned with it, but I thought it was natural and safe.  Just curious!
  • Me too on the Magic Eraser!  I went to town today on my kitchen counter and sink with one of those.  They are also great for cleaning the bathtub.  I occassionally put skin so soft in my bubble bath which makes for a pretty gross tub.  The erasers take care of it!
  • Mrs Meyer's all-purpose cleaner(which lasts forever since you dilute it), dish soap, and toilet cleaner

    Barkeeper's Friend

    Microfiber cloths

..that's really all I use. I can't think of anything else I'd need.

  • Lysol wipes. I use them on everything. Counters, sinks, cupboards, toilets, microwave. Everything.

  • Magic Eraser, windex, steam mop!
  • My hand held steamer (I don't have a lot of floors to justify a steam mop so I use the attachments for my floors too) Vinegar, Baking Soda, and Seventh Generation products
