SOOOOO pumped!!
Just got done chatting with a co-worker who is due the day before me. She is on her second as well. She was asking when I was planning to take my leave and if I wanted to work right up to my due date. I was like, well I think I'm going to take a few extra days off.
She is not coming back after April vacation. The principal was fine with this, she got her FMLA paperwork and its all set. So.... looks like that is what I am going to do too!!!! I'm so excited, this gives me a few extra weeks off to spend some time with my little guy before the new little guy comes!!! And get paid for it!!!
I couldn't be more excited!!

Not to rain on your happy times, but I just remembered something... because I think we were in similar situations, but FMLA didn't apply to me because I hadn't been working at the school for a full calendar year when I went on maternity leave, so you might want to check with the person in charge of that stuff to make sure you can do what you want without worrying about losing your position...
thankfully I didn't lose my position, but I could have if they decided they wanted my sub more than me or something because I wasn't there for a year
