Hey Everyone!
DH and I got married on June 20, 2009 and I'm just now starting to play around with The Nest. My local board is pretty much dead (there are about 5 of us trying to breathe some life into it, though) so I thought I'd come see what's going on over here.

I am a kindergarten teacher and I just started my LAST semester of graduate school. I'm getting my M.Ed. in Literacy and will be a certified reading specialist.
DH just began studying for the CPA exam so I've had a lot of "me time" lately. I guess you could say that's a big part of why I've started hanging out on The Nest.
We just purchased our first home, which is being built. The estimated closing date is March 31 and I can't wait to start decorating! I am currently addicted to HGtv.
We have a grey cat named Jack. Both of our names start with J, too, and I am constantly asked if we will be giving our children J names as well. No, we are not.

Both of our names start with C and people ask us if we're giving our daughter a C name. We don't know what we're naming her, but it won't start with C.

My friend and her husband both have first names that start with K and she has been told they better not name their first child something with a K.
