Happy Friday! Yay for sun!

I'll take whatever breather we can get between snowstorms.

What have you got going on this weekend?

For me, nothing planned for tonight.  I'm tempted to go play volleyball but should probably rest my back, which still isn't back to 100%--we'll see, I'm not always so good about resisting temptation Wink.  Tomorrow I need to start cooking for Chinese New Year.  Sunday night I have volleyball and DH finally gets home after being gone for 1.5 weeks--yay!

I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

Re: Happy Friday! Yay for sun!

  • What did you decide to get for your neighbor?

I have the first ME day since Christmas! I am getting a facial and lunch with a girlfriend.

Tomorrow night I am taking my parents to a yummy restaurant for dinner.

I don't know what else is up yet.

  • H and I are going to dinner with some friends tonight.

Tomorrow I'm going with my MIL to pick up my dress for SILs wedding.

And then other than that, nothing else is going on.

I'm going with the Wilson Farms gift card.

I forgot that tomorrow I also scheduled a massage for myself.  DH gave me a gift card for Christmas and since my back has been acting up a bit I figured I could use a little pampering.

  • Chinese New Year! When I was in high school, I had a friend who used to take me to the Chinese New Year celebration at St Paul's Cathedral every year with her. It was SO FUN.

No plans this weekend at all, and I'm so excited!

They had Chinese New Year celebrations in a Catholic church?  Weird.

  • This time a year the sun is actually really annoying in the morning because it is directly in your eyes through a good portion of the drive along Rt.2. It slows down the traffic really badly. But I will take it over the snow any day!

Tonight DH's friend is staying over (they are going to another friend's place tomorrow). So we'll probably go out to dinner.

Tomorrow I'm going BM dress shopping. First time ever so I'm super excited. The bride is being very understanding about the fact that all 5 of us BMs are different shapes and sizes and is willing to accommodate that. Plus we have a similar sense of style so I know I won't end up with anything hideous anyways. Wink I've liked everyone she's pointed out that she likes. Then we're going out to lunch.

Sunday I need to do some cleaning and grocery shop.

  • Right now I'm at work and the commute in this morning was AWFUL! What usually takes me 40 minutes, took me 2 hours! At least tonight I get to spend with DH. We'll probably stay in and watch a movie.

Tomorrow I'm working the mid shift again and DH and I are having dinner with my parents at the Oak Room. Stick out tongue

Sunday we're going to the in-laws to celebrate my MIL's birthday. I'm making a Moroccan (sp?) spiced hummus with honey! Yumm-o!

Your commute took 2 hours?!  Wow, I'm surprised!  I didn't think the roads were that bad this morning, but my perspective is skewed since I just ride the bus.  Although, come to think of it, my coworkers did seem to make it in pretty late this morning.

I've never been to the Oak Room--report back, please!

Yah, it was awful. I take 93 south to work and it was traffic from the 95 interchange to Columbus Ave in Boston, not lying. The roads were fine there were just so many people out there! And I left my house at 9 to make it in for 10!

I will definitely recap the dinner! I put all of my dinner reviews on my blog, too. LIS! ::shameless plug over:: Smile

  • Happy Friday!

I was so sick this morning I really was getting frustrated.  I am feeling quite a bit better now.  Tomorrow we are having dinner with some friends, and I am really excited because we have not seen them in a long time.  We may end up at the in-laws again on Sunday, but that will depend on how I am feeling.

Traffic was really bad today.  I went to Burlington around 2pm, and the traffic was insane.  What was it from?

I have no idea but it took me two freakin' hours to get home tonight.  Argh!  What a waste of a Friday night.

St. Paul's is Episcopal. My friends father was (is?) the minister of a Chinese Episcopal congregation, where he does services all in Chinese. St Paul's has a huge lower level, so that's where they would do it. They might still. It's really fun!
